Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)

PGDBA is a diploma programme comprising of two semesters. There will be two batches - weekend & weekdays evening. Candidates who opt for weekend batch will have classes on weekends 8 hours a day & candidates who opt for weekdays batch will have classes on weekdays in the evening for 3 hours.

Business metrics summarize the past. But if you want to predict how customers will respond in the future, there is one place to turn – Analytics. By learning from abundant historical data, analytics provides the marketer something beyond standard business reports and sales forecasts: actionable predictions for each customer. These predictions encompass all channels, both online and offline, foreseeing which customers will buy, click, respond, convert or cancel. If you predict it, you own it.

Objectives of the programme:

  • To equip participants to critically evaluate business situations and analyze business data for decision making.
  • To enable them to make and compare models for decision making.
  • To enable them to develop understanding of contemporary applications of marketing research.
  • To facilitate them learn analytical methods in identifying and understanding various aspects of customers’behavior.
  • To facilitate participants learn analytical methods of handling and deciphering the unstructured data in the social media.
  • To facilitate them learn analytical methods as employed in Banking and Financial Services.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s Degree of any recognized statutory University with 50% marks.

Selection Procedure

  • There will be written test and Personal Interaction.
  • Written test will consist of English communication and multiple choice questions based on basic mathematics (data interpretation).

Timings and Venue

This program will be conducted at our Hinjewadi Campus on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 10 AM to 6 PM over a period on one year (2 semesters).

Award of Diploma

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) will be awarded by Symbiosis International University to all successful students at the end of the academic year by taking into consideration the performance of both the semester examinations together. A detailed marks sheet will also be issued to each student after the end of each semester.
